Darut Tasnif (Pvt.) Limited (DTL) was established in 1370 AH / 1951 AD as a charitable trust. Under the umbrella of Darut Tasnif, two major projects are successfully contributing to the society in the areas of health, Islamic and modern education to non-affording families.

The Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre (MH&HCC) was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit hospital, a project of M/S Darut Tasnif (Pvt) Limited. It was established to serve the underprivileged people of suburban Karachi and Baluchistan areas around Hub River Road, which includes the vicinity of Baldia Town, Shershah, SITE, Dawood Goth, Ittehad Town, Javed Bahria, Musharraf Colony, Lasbela district, and other areas like Awaran, Khuzdar and Panjgoor stretching up and around boundaries of Baluchistan. The objective of Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre is to address the healthcare needs of the surrounding underprivileged localities and communities who do not have access to proper medical facilities; offering quality treatment to the deserving. The Darut Tasnif Trust, Madrasa Talimul Islam, and Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre are managed by an independent and autonomous Board of Directors, an experienced team with knowledge and rich experience in management, administration, social welfare and education.
Madrassah Talimul Islam was established under the auspices of M/S Darut Tasnif (Pvt.) Limited in 1958. Hazrat Maulana Tufail Ahmed Farooqui founded this educational institution to provide both quality modern day and Islamic education to students. Being a charitable institution majority of its expenses are met by donations. The Madrasa is a higher secondary school, having primary, secondary, up to matriculation and also a boarding facility for male students. English is used as a medium of instruction in all classes. MTI is a registered and recognized institution with the Education Department, Government of Sindh, and Board of Secondary & Intermediate Education, Karachi.
